About our Ale
The Bar is available during normal opening hours for the sale of premium draught real ales and lagers.
Due to our 'Flag Sheep' status with the Masham Brewery Black Sheep we offer two regular cask ales. Black sheep Ale and Blacks Sheep Best Bitter. Black Sheep best bitter is a well hopped, light golden best bitter with a distinctively dry refreshing taste, to be enjoyed in true black sheep style through a rich and creamy head. Brewed using traditional methods and finest ingrediants.
Black Sheep Ale is a full flavoured premium bitter with rich fruity aroma. It is brewed with many generous handfuls of Golding hops, giving a bitter sweet malty taste, followed by black sheep's characteristic long dry and bitter finish.
